In Lakeland, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Florida, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Came in for my first visit and honestly had a really good experience. Dr. Henson was easy to talk to, professional, and made everything feel comfortable. Olen was great as an assistant and made sure I was good the whole time, and Candice at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The staff overall had a good vibe and made the appointment go smoothly. Glad I chose this office!

I had an excellent experience at Coast Dental in Lakeland and couldn’t be more impressed with the entire team. From the moment I walked in, Maggy at the front desk made me feel welcome with her warm and professional demeanor. Marshayla was just as kind and attentive, setting the tone for a truly positive visit. Olena took great care of me during my dental X-rays, and her sunny disposition was truly a ray of sunshine—it made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. Dr. Henson was outstanding. She has exceptional bedside manner and took the time to thoroughly go over everything with me. I never felt rushed or like I was asking too many questions—in fact, she encouraged them, which I really appreciated. And last but not least, Shahid, the hygienist, did an incredible job with my cleaning. He was extremely thorough (in the best way possible) and went above and beyond to make sure everything was addressed and taken care of. It’s rare to find a dental office where every single person you interact with is this professional, caring, and attentive. Highly recommend Coast Dental to anyone looking for top-notch dental care in Lakeland!

Dental assistant Marshala was an absolute gem who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed throughout my appointment. She was a wonderful and compassionate energy to be around, taking extra care to sit down with me and resolve any anxieties I was having. Five stars isn’t enough to express how grateful I am for receiving her care today. Dental Hygienist Shahid also took excellent care of me, taking time to answer any questions I had and to inform me on the steps he would be taking throughout my appointment. Thank you both for your patience, hard work, and kindness today ❤️
